Our clients, having recently acquired a stunning period country home and estate in East Cork, reached out to us via email. We were captivated by the property’s charm, its idyllic countryside setting, the breathtaking views, and the clients’ passion for horses and dogs. Each visit to this serene location offered a delightful escape from the bustling city life.
We were thrilled to be chosen to help the clients infuse their personal style into this newly purchased home. Our collaboration began with sharing ideas and concepts through storyboards. Given their busy schedules, our initial interactions were primarily remote, utilising emails and videos. This approach allowed us to perfectly align their unique country home with elegant fabrics like those from Barneby Gates, complemented by William Morris wallpapers and rugs, and deep hues from Farrow & Ball Paints. We carefully selected chandeliers for each living space and paired them with Irish-made wall lamps that respected the home’s period style.
After a few weeks, we invited the clients to our studio. Here, we presented them with samples of all their selections, enabling them to visualise how the room schemes were coming together. Once all choices were approved, we proceeded with ordering and coordinating with the necessary trades and suppliers. The final results were a source of joy for everyone involved, especially our clients, who were so pleased that they have requested our services for another project, an invitation we gladly accepted.
